As with every IT industry conference that I attend, my primary goal is to find one or two nuggets that can be used to improve our business or the service that we provide to our clients.
This year’s Cloud Summit was very similar to last year’s event as Ingram Micro rolled out several new service partnerships that we now are able to offer to our clients. Sifting through all of these new offerings consumed most of my time at the three day conference. One service that I am eager to investigate in more depth is a talent management and measurement tool from Cornerstone on Demand called CSB (Cornerstone Small Business). We have been struggling with implementing a standard process for Performance Reviews and on the surface this Cloud based service appears to fit the bill.
