Technology Resource Advisors, Inc. was established in 2006 to fulfill the technology needs of local businesses, non-profit organizations, and school districts.

The foundation of our organization is a set of core values and principles that guide our associates to build long-term relationships that focus on the success of our clients. Technology Resource Advisors, Inc. provides Outsourced IT Services and Cloud Computing Solutions for local business and non-profit organizations based in the Milwaukee area. In the K-12 Education sector, Technology Resource Advisors, Inc. provides our ChromeCare Warranty service for school districts located in Wisconsin and Illinois. In the summer of 2008, Technology Resource Advisors, Inc. moved into the P.H. Dye House located in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. Needing additional space to accommodate our growing staff and to prepare for future growth, Technology Resource Advisors, Inc. relocated to a larger office within the P.H. Dye House in July 2012. Less than twenty four months later in March 2014, Technology Resource Advisors, Inc. doubled its square footage footprint by leasing two additional office spaces in the P.H. Dye House.

In January 2017, Technology Resource Advisors, Inc. opened a 2nd Milwaukee location in the Monterey Business Park.  This 9600 square foot facility will be home to our Education Sales and Service group and includes greatly improved logistics capabilities for our ChromeCare repair operation.  Our Outsourced IT and Cloud Services team has relocated within the P.H. Dye House and now occupies 6000 square feet which includes dedicated work areas for Network Management, Support Desk, and Deployment team members.

Jason Schmitt / CEO, Founder

Born and raised in Fond du Lac, Jason graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bradley University in 1995 with a degree in Business Management. His IT industry experience includes 15+ years in a sales and project management role for both Private and Public Sector organizations. Responsible for the direction of Technology Resource Advisors, Inc. and maintaining client relationships, Jason enjoys participating in peer groups such as MMAC’s COSBE and Ingram Micro’s VentureTech Network.  In Jason’s spare time he enjoys watching football, playing golf, and traveling.

Tom Reminga

Tom Reminga / CTO, Principal

Born and raised in the Milwaukee area, Tom attended MSOE and UW-Milwaukee with a focus on Information Technology. His IT industry experience includes 15+ years supporting the diverse technology requirements of organizations ranging from small business to large scale enterprises. A TRA team member since 2007, Tom’s primary responsibility is providing strategic technology direction and long term planning for our clients. Tom has a deep knowledge of the Microsoft, VMware, Apple, Hosted, and Cloud platforms. In his spare time, Tom is an avid skier, automobile racing enthusiast, and dog lover.

Greg Herpel / Director of Business Development

A lifelong resident of Milwaukee, Greg received his Bachelor of Science, Marketing degree from Winona State University. Offering 20+ years of technology industry experience in the areas of marketing, business development, public relations, sales management, channel development, and technology advisement, Greg joined Technology Resource Advisors, Inc. in June of 2015. His responsibilities include finding new opportunities for TRA in all business units and maintaining long lasting relationships with potential and existing clients and partners. During his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, landscaping, playing sports, listening to music, and watching movies.

Chris Elkendier

Chris Elkendier / Director of Education Sector

Raised in Appleton and a UW-Milwaukee graduate, Chris has 10+ years of experience providing Technology advice to K-12 and higher education institutions. Chris comes to TRA after spending the past nine years of his career as a part of Best Buy’s Corporate sales group. Due to his passion for technology and knowledge of the education space, Chris was one of ten Best Buy team members selected to be on their National Education Outreach Team. Specialty areas for Chris include Chromebooks, Wireless Networking, AV, and Digital Signage. In his free time Chris is an avid golfer, traveler, and automobile racing enthusiast.

Greg Renaud / Director of Operations – Warranty Services

Hailing from Kenosha and a UW – Parkside graduate, Greg comes to TRA with seven years of experience in management and logistics. He has managed operations for large retailers like Best Buy, Adidas, and Target, and has experience in managing IT groups with CompuCom. Greg’s responsibilities at TRA focus on the growth of warranty services, and innovating around efficiency and process improvement. Outside of work Greg enjoys playing volleyball, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and two boys.

Kelly Pederson

Kelly Pederson / Business Manager

A Milwaukee native and UW-Milwaukee graduate, Kelly earned her Bachelors in Business Administration. Bringing experience in sales and marketing she joined the TRA team in 2009, taking on responsibilities that include marketing, inside sales, event planning, and purchasing. In her free time outside of work Kelly enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and trying new restaurants.



Born and raised in Oconomowoc, Becky graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Material Logistics Management. Becky joined TRA in 2013 with prior experience in IT Project Management, Operations Management, Logistics, and Planning Management. During her time at TRA, Becky has filled multiple roles including Project Management, Human Resources, Inside Sales, and Purchasing. In her free time Becky enjoys boating, running, and traveling.
